Complete an application and get a budget

Complete an online application [hyperlinked] form to get pre-approved for a budget. It only takes 5 minutes and doesn’t impact your credit rating. Once your application has been processed and approved, you will receive confirmation of the budget for your dream home.

Choose your funding style

As part of your application, you can indicate if you wish to have investors directly support you. This means you can start securing funds from investors who want to support your journey to home ownership, before they know the specific home you’ve selected. This gives you peace of mind knowing that you have funds locked in before you start searching for a property. Being directly supported is optional, and if you do not choose to do so, investors will be able to invest once you have selected your home.

(If you opted in for direct support) Secure direct support towards your budget

If you chose to be directly supported by investors, we will send your profile to relevant investors in our network who may choose to contribute a proportion of your budget in exchange for the same stake in your home. We will share with the investors your brief background (the amount of information is dependent on what you’re willing to share), your budget and the type of home you’re looking for.

Pick your dream home

Search for your dream home within your approved budget. We can connect you with a suitable agent to help. We will work with you to conduct due diligence and ensure the home is a good fit for you and is suitable for co-investors.

We’ll find co-investors

We’ll contact our network of investors who are interested in co-investing in a home like yours. These investors will help you purchase the home. If you opted to be personally supported, you may already have a portion of funding committed, which makes this step easier.

Pay and move in

We’ll help negotiate the purchase price and close on the deal. You pay as little as 1% for your share in the home and move in. You may choose to purchase a greater share in the home; the more you own, the more you’ll benefit if the property increases in value and the less rent you’ll pay.

Save up and increase your share

Start saving to build your ownership in the home on a schedule that suits you. You can buy additional ‘units’ in the home at an independent market valuation at any time.

Buy the home or cash out

When you are eligible for a mortgage, buy out the other investors at an independent market valuation and the property will be fully transferred into your name. If you no longer wish to purchase the property, you can sell your share in the home to other investors and will benefit if the home has increased in value.
